Fearful that Baal Toon and the Infernus are on the loose, Áaro becomes paranoid and decides to reinforce Elah’s defenses on Caelum. His Khoda, along with the Joaqui, attack the Great House of Arnőrr, seeking to steal their vaults of Umril. This act of unwarranted aggression is too much for the Joaqui, and they break their long-standing alliance with the Elohim. They return to Joaquima, where they become introverted, disillusioned with what the Universe and the Elohim have become.
The dreaded inae, the parasites from before the Universe was formed, launch a final attack on Caelum. Khoda Ludas is forever scarred in their final defeat at the Foundry.
